I think the site is pretty good. The writing is entertaining. If you need any info about laying out/printing a paper publication let me know. I started a publication a while back called "The Parallel Journal" I only made one issue (see www.zerohour.net/paralleljournal) But the print version turned out really good. So, if you need any info on trying to find/use software, or communicating with printing companies, distribution, etc. then I'm sure I can give you at least a little valuable info.

Onthe subject of Libertarianism:

I always thought it kind of weird whenever I get into a conversation with a self-described libertarian that they seem to repeat the a "party-line" or catch phrase when it come to issues, like the economy, etc. Lines like "Freedom with responsiblity" etc.

It seems that Libertarinism as awhole is rooted in a "Scientism" value set. It's motivational system, in integral psychology terms, is "independance". The demands of "Scientism" require a rigid consensus by all in the group on what is accepted as "right and wrong", "true not true" etc. So, when libertarian values seem to contradict the complexities of reality, those complexities that cannot be redeemed by the core truths of libertarian beliefs can be dismissed as irrelevant. I propose that this is value set limits the world view of Libertarianism. A more systemic approach could be for libertarians to "reach out" to other groups and individuals, even if they seem idealogically opposed to the solutions of Libertarianism. A good example could be the "Green Party" who often share similar basic beliefs with the basic beliefs of Libertarianism, but often seek out a "more government legslation" approach to solving the problems that both groups recognize. Also, Libertarians often disagree withthe "Solidarity" concepts that left-leaning groups like the Green Party promote. Concepts like "Human Solidarity" and "Self Defense" "Human Rights" "Capitalism" etc. are all necassary components of Human Civilization. Most political groups adopt and promote some of the concepts and shun others. This is a mistake made all the way across the spectrum of poliical movements. A way for Libertarians to make a systemic partnership with a group like the Green Party might be to extend the agreement that the core concepts of the group are sound (see:http://www.world-prosperity.org/green_values.htm) and tell them that you would be willing to work with them on creating solutions to issues where Libertarians involved would not find themselves compromising their libertarian beliefs. Issues like drug legalization, voting reform, Community Assemblies,Renewable energy,Eliminating corporate personhood, etc.

I am not affiliated with the Green Party, but I have been involved locally in experiments to try and mesh groups together who are outwardly disperate-seeming. The processes that I have participated in involved the "emergent cyclical levels of existance" theory as a point of reference when meshing individuals, groups, cultures, etc. who's belief systems clash with one another (see: www.clarewgraves.com, www.spiraldynamics.org).

The theory of Graves shows that the values he defines are the "containers" of beliefs. It teaches to pay less attention to "what" people are saying, and more to "why" they are saying it. One of his students, Dr Don Beck, applied this theory in South Africa throughout the Nineties (see: www.spiraldynamics.org), and was able to help S. Africa avoid regressing into chaos.

Just some Ideas. Nice Website.
