Hidden behind a mass of bushes and foliage is the Hiy'o Waterfall. The grounds are full of vegetation and greenery with small pools of crystal water dotted here and there.

So he'd kept Cubia a little longer than necessary, it's not like he had ever really lived on a time restraining schedule before. Sometimes days lapsed and passed unnoticed to him. And, well, Polera couldn't help but aknowledge the fact that it was rather nice having some company. Especially when that company was understanding and physically similar to himself. But it was time to return the boy to his parents, all good things must come to an end.
The past few weeks had been filled with travel and games. The black and white husky marked brute did all he could think of to keep the pup entertained. There was hunting, swimming, exploring, and of course flying. Damn that pup enjoyed flying. Polera hoped he'd grow into some wings of his own. Such a shame that a creature that got so much enjoyment out of the air would be grounded his entire life. "Ya alright, kid?" Polera called out, eerie yellow eyes glancing behind him briefly. However, he didn't wait for an answer. Black nose went back to the ground, white paws continuing to pad a silent rhythm on the ground. Aijin's scent was getting strong, they were close.
Slowly, the scent of burning flesh reached the brute's nose, lips cringing in disgust and distaste. It was the middle of autumn, had there really been a forest fire? How could that even be when the waterfall was so close? The air hung so heavily with moisture that he doubted such a thing had happened. The foliage thinned, opening up to the wide base of Hiy'o Waterfall, the crashing water roaring with all the rain they'd had recently.
Polera glanced around, trying to figure out where the smell was coming from. Sneezing, the brute cleared his senses and continued to try and follow Aijin's scent, but was baffled by the strong stench of seared flesh. However, he soon found the source. The large black and white hybrid stopped before a pile of ash and bone reminants, yellow eyes wide as several scents came to him. On, of course, was Aijin's. It seemed to stop here, isolated tot his very spot. Faintly in the air was the scent of Villo, Aijin's idiotic chioce of a mate, but Cubia's father nonetheless. And then there was the scent of strange female. Polera blinked, moving his nose closer to the pile of ash and ivory and taking a deep inhale despite the pungent smell. Lips wrinkling in disgust, the brute's hackles rased, a snarl rumbling out of his chest. What had Villo done?
