Hiy'o Waterfall

Hidden behind a mass of bushes and foliage is the Hiy'o Waterfall. The grounds are full of vegetation and greenery with small pools of crystal water dotted here and there.

The large white brute was heading towards the waterfall. There was an unnatural tug that was drawing him here. It was the place he'd first met Cealia on their own terms, albiet accidental. It was also one of his favorite spots with the cascading falls and pools of water, some shallow and some deep. His large paws carried him with no specific goal in mind, but when he was outside of Water, he always wanted to be here. It was peaceful, serene, the place he could go to clear his head from pack matters.

As Beta of Water, Arturio always had his paws full. Today, he took the time to break away for a moment. He let his thoughts linger on his pack members, the white brute recalling the young pup, Cubia. Arturio chuckled to himself, remembering their flights, few as they were before the boy disappeared for a time. Arturio worried, mostly because Cubia and his mother, Aijin, were part of his pack. It was his job, whether anyone cared to like it or not.

He paused, a scent catching his attention just barely through the foliage. Arturio stepped out, noting some familiarity about them. His green eyes were quick to spot Polera opposite him, investigating the same scent Arturio had just noticed with a stray breeze, barely noticing it over the strong presence of water. The Water wolf moved closer, cautiously at first.

He could smell Aijin in area and was moving mirrored to Polera to the same location. The smell of a fire mixed with a pack mate immediately had his concerns. It wasn't long before he was a few paces behind the wolf/husky at the place where the ashes were. "Aijin," Arturio said quietly. There was no mistaking it. But who, or what, would possibly do this to the gentle fae?

The large wolf's gave shifted from the ashes to the hybrid. Arturio didn't need to speak. Based on what he saw, and Polera's reaction, someone, namely one of the unfamiliar scents to Arturio, was responsible for Aijin's death. He shifted his golden wings slightly, already intent on seeking out who was at fault and make them pay for this atrocity, but he waited for a moment. In this case, he might find an ally in Polera, though the white wolf didn't speak.
