Susie's ears flapped forward at the sound of Kar's voice. Slowly her eyes opened unamused. She crossed her paws and lowered her chin into her thick dewlap.

"Hello, wolf," Susie grumbled. This was her chance, despite how irritated Susie appeared, to tackle a wolf. Her heart fluttered with excitement underneath her cold exterior.

"Thinking how good a fat rabbit like myself must taste?" Susie prodded. Now she was asking for it, but the temptation was too great.
