Madeline padded along on the desolate misty island. The water had washed off the ash and dust from the pack lands revealing her light gray coat and dark gray paws. Her blue eyes wandered the landscape and looked for other beasts torecruit.

She was recruiting for the Fire Pack. Any beast who wanted a home and a chance at revenge was more then welcome. Any beast who will submit to Seg was welcome. As long as they did as they were told Seg would take them. If they had any special skills their would be no question about their acceptance into Fire.

She sat back and let lose a single word howl as loud as she could across the island:

"FIRE!"
