Misty Island

The large black and gold brute was enjoying the warm sea breeze, something very different from the blistering winds of Ice this time of year. Anubis lifted his nose to the air, taking in a deep waft of sea salt and brine, very foreign. Golden eyes opened, however, when a strangely familiar scent came to him. It was heavily masked by another's and wild, but hidden somewhere in the breeze and stranger's smell was that of Seg's.

The teen wolf began to walk toward the scent, rather curious. His large black falcon wings gave a stretch, the gold apex feathers fanning out like fingers against the blazing sunset sky. The mist was thick, making the surrounding area hardly visible. However, this stranger was keen enough to let out a howl and disclose their whereabouts. Blinking, Anubis disappeared from his location, reappearing behind this strange, new fem.

"I don't see any fire," his youthful voice was rather emotionless, yet his golden eyes were intelligent and almost playful. The young wolf raised a brow as the wind whipped around him, startling his dark coat. The golden collar of fur that came to a V down his chest danced brilliantly against his black base, the sun illuminating it as well as his right front paw, back left toes, and ear rims. The young wolf tilted his head, wondering what to think about this wolfess and what to ask her.
